The Worcester Police Department Credit Union (WPDCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that has been serving the Worcester Police Department and their families since 1960. The History of WPDCU
The Worcester Police Department Credit Union was established in 1960 by a group of Worcester Police Department officers who wanted to create a financial institution that would provide affordable financial services to police officers and their families. The credit union started out small, with only a few members and limited financial products and services.

Membership in WPDCU is open to current and retired employees of the Worcester Police Department, as well as their immediate family members. This includes spouses, children, siblings, and parents of eligible members.
